Developing and Sharing Community Health Improvement Stories Using the CLEAR Framework

Join us for NYSPHA's interactive pre-conference session, an interactive workshop. You will learn how to apply the CLEAR Framework for developing and sharing community health improvement stories. CLEAR stands for Collaborative, Learning, Equity, Action and Replication.
Practitioners will share stories addressing New York State’s Prevention Agenda, the state health improvement plan. The Prevention Agenda has five statewide priorities: Prevent Chronic Diseases; Promote a Health and Safe Environment; Promote Healthy Women, Infants and Children; Promote Mental Health and Prevent Substance Abuse and Prevent HIV, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Vaccine-Preventable Diseases and Healthcare-Associated Infections.
Participants will develop community health improvement stories with materials and guidance from facilitators. Come with ideas, narrative or photographs about a story you are interested in working on.
