“Air, Water, Food: Protecting Where We Live, Work and Play”
2020 Call for Abstracts is now closed
The New York State Public Health Association (NYSPHA), New York State Association of County Health Officials (NYSACHO) and the NYS Conference on Environmental Health Directors (CEHD) invite you to submit a proposal to present at the 2020 Public Health Partnership Conference. The event will be held April 30 - May 1, 2020 at Sheraton at the Falls in Niagara Falls, New York, with a pre-conference workshop to be held on April 29th. The Public Health Partnership Conference is a one-of-a-kind event in NYS where public health professionals from all settings can engage in public health learning opportunities designed to enhance personal growth and renewal, as well as to benefit the communities we all serve. Presenting a session provides an opportunity for you to share your expertise with public health professionals on a variety of current and emerging issues while building a rich networking community. We thank you for your participation and engagement.
This year’s theme is “Air, Water, Food: Protecting Where We Live, Work and Play.” In celebration of our partnership with the Conference of Environmental Health Directors, a state-affiliate of the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), our conference will feature keynote speakers and conference sessions with a focus on how the environment impacts community health. The quality of the air you breathe, the water you drink and the food you eat all fosters healthy, viable communities.
*NEW* this year! The Public Health Partnership Conference will follow tracks along the following topics. Presentations are encouraged that address innovative interventions, best practices and achievements under these tracks.:
Other areas of public health may also be submitted but priority will be given to those meeting the above topic areas.
Additional consideration will be given to abstracts that address social influencers of health, disparities (urban/suburban/rural, gender, race/ethnicity), equity or social justice.
You may also submit a skills-based proposal for this topic to be considered for presentation at the pre-conference workshop to be held from 1:30-5 PM on Wednesday, April 29, 2020. This workshop may include various presenters so please indicate your session length in the proposal.
Please note: Abstracts cannot be accepted via email. All abstracts must be submitted online. Online submission is now open! Deadline to submit is November 26th at 11:59 PM EST.
Abstract Submission Format Options
